Mutant Rodents

Ok,,Tuesday. How to even explain Tuesday. Work was ,,umm,,,grim. That will suffice. Grim. Got better about 5pm when I left for margaritas with the girls. Great fun. Wonderful fun. Made it home,,had my bubble bath,,and a poltergeist came to visit. Lights flashing off and on. Upstairs on,,downstairs off,,,loft on,,flashing,,,bedroom off and on,,whole house on,,,whole house off. A poltergeist for sure. Fell asleep watching tv,,woke up with no power in the house at all. Great. Lovely. Curly hair and no coffee to start the day. Called the sparky and he said,,," Best case scenario is probably a rat". Yeah,,read that again. A FREAKIN RAT. How I asked can a rat EVER be part of a best case scenario? I mean really??? A rat??? I was at lunch telling some of my coworkers about my poltergeist and Bob offered me a 6ft long rat snake. Long cold stare his direction. How in the HELL does the addition of a 6ft long snake improve this situation in any way whatsoever??? I think I might have shrieked at him. That's truly my version of hell. Rats and snakes. Especially a mutant rat that is eating my electricity. Came home and checked on the sparky and he informed me that I did indeed have a rat,,but he was outside the house. No trace of rodentia within these hallowed walls. Huge relief. But,,still,,a rat. So this weekend Tony and I are going to ratproof my house and yard. He doesn't like them either. Mutant nasty bastages eating my electricity and living uninvited in my yard. I was wondering why the cats hadn't captured and tortured the invader and then had a horrid thought. This MUST be one of those Here Kitty Kitty rats ,,Willard,,,that stomps through the neighborhood taunting the other animals. Nocturnal demon. Sucking the power out of the lines. Wicked horrid nightmare creature. I don't know if the girl dance will even begin to cover this event. It might require the voodoo goddess and the redhot goodluck mama doll AND the girl dance,,and a bottle of pink. We'll find out Saturday. At least it's just in the yard and not in the house. I would be obligated to move,,or die,,or both.

Horns still winning. Kansas this weekend. aggies on Thanksgiving. If we win out,,which we should,,,possibly a trip to Phoenix for the Fiesta Bowl??? We'll see.
